Heerlijk gegeten van het 8-gangen inspiratiemenu. De gerechten hadden hier en daar een bijzonder en gewaagd ingrediënt. We waren er op woensdagavond, het was heel erg rustig waardoor het wat minder sfeervol was, maar daarentegen wel een perfecte service omdat de gastheer alle tijd voor ons had.

Restaurant Eden heeft een zeer bijzondere chef-kok die hele originele gerechten bereid. De smaken van alle afzonderlijke ingrediënten met elkaar gecombineerd geven een heerlijke smaakexplosie in je mond. Wij aten een 7-gangen-menu met wijnarrangement en hebben genoten van iedere gang. De sommelier had ook zeer verrassende wijnen bij de gerechten geschonken en vertelde er vol passie over. De bediening vonden wij ook helemaal top. Dit restaurant is een echte aanrader als je van heerlijk eten houdt.

Wij hadden het 7-gangenmenu. Voor een sterrenrestaurant vielen deze wat tegen, 1 gerecht was zelfs niet lekker en hebben we niet opgegeten (een paar gerechten waren wel erg lekker). De medewerker vroeg of het niet lekker was en reageerde vervolgens laconiek 'dat kan', daar bleef het bij.
Verder vonden we dat het telkens heel lang duurde tot het volgende gerecht kwam, vooral de laatste gerechten, we hebben ruim 5 uur aan tafel gezeten en dat was op het laatst echt te langdradig wat ons betreft.
De ambiance is redelijk en een kwestie can smaak, zou wat ons betreft wat meer gezelligheid mogen uitstralen (vooral ook de toiletten waar fel wit licht schijnt).
Al met al leuke avond gehad maar wat ons betreft niet ster-waardig.

Wij hebben een fantastische avond gehad en genoten van een keur aan heerlijke gerechten met zeer bijzondere smaken.
Alle borden waren prachtig opgemaakt. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk. Wij kunnen Eden zeker aanbevelen.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?
