4 gangen menu van de chef bleek zelf 4 gerechten van de kaart te kiezen. We kregen een kaart in handen dus aangegeven dat we via restaurant week kwamen en een 4 gangen menu vd chef krijgen, nee deze mag je zelf kiezen. En weg was de medewerker. Hierna een andere medewerker gevraagd wat nu de bedoeling is. 1x voorger...

Hierna een andere medewerker gevraagd wat nu de bedoeling is. 1x voorgerecht 1x soep 1x hoofd 1x na Geen aangepaste porties dus na een voorgerecht en een kom kaassoep of aardappelsoep zaten we al ver vol. Zeker omdat beide gerechten binnen een halfuur gebracht werden dus aangegeven dat het hoofdgerecht wel even mocht wachten. Toen we besloten hadden dat we wilden aangeven dat t hoofdgerecht zo wel mocht komen werd het al gebracht.
Alle gerechten vielen wat tegen, alleen het dessert was een reden om terug te komen.
Heerlijk gegeten. Nagerecht beetje afknapper: sorbet met vers fruit bestond uit bolletjes ijs met alleen zure rode bessen, voor mijn gevoel uit de diepvries.
We hadden een arrangement voor een hele mooie prijs, maar de gerechten waren helemaal top en zeer uitgebreid, op het dessert na. Voorgerechten waren zeer smakelijk en het hoofdgerecht was helemaal top. Service was goed en vriendelijk en was al met al een goede avond uit.
Stijlvolle omgeving, goede bediening en heerlijk gegeten.

In the spring of 2020, we opened our doors on the lively market square of Gouda. Joost Zekveld tapped into his knowledge and passion for the hospitality industry once again, giving rise to Gouds Glas. With its spacious 800 square meters, the restaurant provides a suitable space for gatherings of any size.
Upon entering, the attention is quickly drawn to the six large stained glass windows. These windows are a nod to the stained glass windows of the Gouda St. John's Church, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Each window features an image of local landscapes, buildings, or businesses. The building has five different spaces, each suitable for various occasions. It was formerly a trade hall where many weddings took place, and we are especially proud that you can exchange vows here and then celebrate with your entire party! Whether you want to dine under the glass dome in the grand restaurant, hold a meeting in the unique wine bar, or have drinks on the mezzanine or terrace, you are warmly welcome at Gouds Glas!
