First impressions as we walked in were ok. We were sat near an open door so a little cool. We ordered drinks and my wife was given coke instead of coke light which she asked for. The starter took one hour. We had the mixed starter for two and it was very dry. When main course finally came, my wife’s buttered chicken came first. Then mine came, some red chicken on a hot plate. I said I’d ordered chicken Tikka Masala. The waitress was very sorry, said this has happened before and asked who took our order and we pointed to who we thought was maybe the wife of the owner. She looked at us liked she’d never seen us before and didn’t remember taking our order. We literally watched her write exactly what we’d asked for yet she still made out she hadn’t taken our order. The owner came over and apologized suggesting I eat some of my wife’s food while I wait for mine to be cooked. He continued making small talk as my wife tried to eat. Just spoiling the dinner even more. My food came and still didn’t look or taste like any tikka masala I had ever had before. My wife said the same about the butter chicken. Very dry meat. When I came to pay, I was presented with the full bill. I explained we booked through the website and there was a 20 euros voucher from Unive our insurance company who said it was for my birthday. The owner said he wasn’t aware. So I showed him the email confirmation which he would have also received. He then went on to argue that we didn’t have the set menu? I said we were not told by them there was a set menu under this booking. He continued to argue and then simply walked off leaving it to his young waitress who by the way was the most professional and courteous one in there. She was eventually able to take 20 euros off the total and we paid. What an awful experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was the worst Indian food I’ve ever eaten to top it off with an owner who didn’t care. The gents toilet was disgusting with urine all over the floor. The sink was so dirty it was sticky. Looked like it had never been cleaned. I can only hope the kitchen wasn’t the same!

En ja, dat er bijpassende muziek klinkt is logisch echter vonden we deze wel erg eentonig.

Een goede menukaart met veel keuze. Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten. Dat was echt genieten: de kleuren, geuren en smaken in het eten zijn buitengewoon.
Verder was het personeel heel vriendelijk en gastvrij.
Een aanrader en ik zou hier graag weer naartoe gaan.
