In het kader van de restaurantweek hier gedineerd. Alle gerechten, inclusief de amuse (een oester!) waren erg lekker, perfect klaargemaakt. Heerlijke bijpassende wijnen en een karaf water was ook mogelijk. Helemaal niets te klagen eigenlijk, dus we waren erg verrast, want ik had heel andere geluiden gehoord helaas. Zo zie je maar, altijd afgaan op je eigen ervaring.
We hebben hier fantastisch gegeten, het was gewoon heel knus en rustig, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar ! Het enige minpuntje wat ik kan bedenken was dat ik bij de reservering duidelijk had aangegeven dat mijn man beslist geen vis eet, en wij vooraf een oester kregen, deze ging dus weer terug naar de keuken, maar daar kwam helaas geen alternatief voor.

Since its opening in 2014, under the passionate leadership of Pieter and Paula, the restaurant has built an impressive track record: from winning the Golden Ladle in its first year, to acquiring a Michelin star in 2021 and achieving 14.5 Gault&Millau points.
Pieter, SVH Master Chef since 2009, has worked as chef de cuisine at several renowned restaurants, including Cour du Nord*, Corona*, Puccini, and Chagall*. His culinary journey began at Sancerre in Amsterdam and included an internship at Marco Pierre White's The Restaurant*** in London.
Paula, his wife and partner in the restaurant, has allowed her passion for hospitality and wine to flourish. Together they defined the look and design of their restaurant. Paula's expertise extends to Pieters Restaurant's fine wine collection, while she also handles the administrative side of the restaurant.
