Cafe Poef is a nice and friendly lunchroom in the centre of De Pijp and well known for its daring diversity of large toasted sandwiches en regular sandwiches. The combination of ingredients on our toasted sandwiches are unique and never seen before, but we’ll guarantee you they will be worth trying. Check our menu and you’ll be convinced. 

We’re open from 10.00 till 18.00 hour, but on special request Poef gladly opens the doors for private diners (min. 15 persons) and parties. And of course we use our sharpest price for you. For more information, please feel free to contact us.

Concept
The café Poef is brought alive from the idea that not one group is similar and people like sitting together more intimite. Poef therefor doesn’t have any chairs or tables, just poufs that can be used as chairs or tables. That’s where the name comes from, Poef meaning pouf in Dutch.

Children
If you will bring your children they won’t be bored for a minute and will keep on having fun in our specialy made children’s corner with lots of toys. When they stopped playing and got hungry we serve special (toasted) sandwiches for the kids below 1.50 meter. The childrens toasted sandwich is half the amount, or let them have a typical dutch sandwich with peanutbutter or chocolate, a real party!!!
